This toy is wonderful for puppies as well as adult dogs. Our two adult Goldens enjoy this with a plastic bottle inside, and as puppies they liked chewing it without the bottle. It's a tough toy of which we have had a few, each remaining intact albeit without ears or other appendages, but still fun for the dogs.

My 2 dogs can play tug of war with this and it holds up without tearing but is so soft they want to keep trying! Instead of bottles I'll fill it with our squeakers to keep changing it up.
