Our 10 week old puppy spent his first night in his new home sleeping in his crate, with a fuzzy blanket and the snuggle pet. He slept right on top of the snuggle pet with the heart beat going. He still sleeps on it and loves his crate. I think it helped him to feel like he had his liter mates with him. A good buy!!

I foster orphaned neonatal kittens, and they absolutely love this little heartbeat. I looked at other similar products, but this is the only one I found with useful settings. You can set it to beat for 8 hours, or indefinitely, which is pretty impressive for such a simple machine. It also has a surprisingly long battery life. i only had to replace the batteries after 8 weeks of near-constant use.
