Tender-Tuffs® Dog Toys FAQ

Tender-Tuffs are made with our exclusive TearBlok® dual-layer fabric, giving them added strength while still staying soft and
cuddly. This special material is unique to our toys and helps them stand up to
energetic, interactive play better than standard plush toys.

Tender-Tuffs are designed for tough play, but they’re not intended to be chew toys. Many dogs enjoy them for fetch, tug, or chase-style games. If your pup tends to chew instead of play, we recommend supervising closely and redirecting to
appropriate chew items.

We’re here to help! Puppies are still learning how to play and sometimes use their toys a bit too enthusiastically. If you’ve had an issue with a Tender-Tuffs toy, please email info@snugglepuppy.com
or send us a DM with your contact information. Our team will be happy to assist and answer any questions.

No dog toy is completely indestructible. While Tender-Tuffs feature our durable TearBlok® fabric, every dog plays differently. If you share your dog’s size, play style, and chewing habits, our customer service team can help recommend the best Tender-Tuffs style, or let you know if another toy type may better suit your pup.

Tender-Tuffs are ideal for interactive, supervised play. Games like fetch, tug, or hide-and-seek help your dog understand the purpose of the toy. Putting the toy away when playtime ends builds a clear association with play - not chewing.

Yes! Tender-Tuffs can be wonderful for puppies during supervised play. Teaching your puppy how to interact with their toy from the beginning helps set healthy, long-term play habits. Redirect chewing as needed and encourage fun, gentle play.

Think about your dog’s size, energy level, and preferred play style. Some dogs love squeakers, others enjoy tugging, and some like fetchable shapes. If you want help making the best choice, our team is always happy to offer personalized recommendations.

Puppy Teething Aid FAQ

  1. Hold the teething aid under running water with the massaging teeth facing down. There are a series of holes allowing the teething aid to be filled with water. Please keep in mind that the teething aid only takes less than one ounce of water.
  2. Once the teething aid has been filled with water, simply place in the freezer for 30 minutes to fully freeze.
  3. Another option is to submerge the puppy teething aid in a bowl of water. Once submerged, squeeze the teething aid to remove the air and release. This will act as a suction and suck water into the teething aid.

The puppy teething aid is BPA free. It is not harmful to kids or other pets.

Yes, it is! Make sure you place the puppy teething aid on the top rack and flush it with warm water and a 5% bleach solution. You will also want to make sure you rinse the teething aid thoroughly before adding water, freezing, and giving to your puppy.
